We felt very comfortable in the Hotel zur Rose. Modernly furnished rooms, well-implemented hygiene concept and not to forget ... the friendly welcome and the family atmosphere. We will be happy to come back in 2021.

The rooms were ok. The breakfast buffet, you stand in front of it and wonder where the rest is. Muesli was well stocked, the rest rather poor. There was only one kind of bread roll, no pretzels or grain rolls. Bread and croissants were available. We have already been to houses with fewer stars, but the buffet was more extensive, more selection and more attractive. In the hallway it smelled of the kitchen, which I found unpleasant. Therefore, the price-performance ratio is not appropriate for me.

We had really great days and everything in the hotel was great and can only be recommended. I and my wife Christel Mülhaupt can only recommend.

Food was delicious. Unfortunately we waited over 11/2 hours for it. But it was worth it. We would have liked to have a dessert and an espresso, but there was no service for 20 minutes and when someone came two tables were cashed in and we were unfortunately ignored. Too bad. We went to the somewhat older but really clean rooms with a nice renovated bathroom. The night was again quite uncomfortable on the already clearly worn mattresses. The breakfast, however, was extremely delicious with great cheese, fresh fruit salad and homemade jam. When paying we were unfortunately not asked whether everything was ok ...

Here you can eat very well and also celebrate. Motorcyclists are welcome. Last year we celebrated our 30th anniversary of the Goldwing Club there. They were allowed to camp with mobile homes and tents in the garden and behind the house because there weren't that many rooms available. The hotel rooms can also be recommended.

Friendly service! Unfortunately very long waiting time (exactly one hour passed from ordering to eating!) But the food was excellent! The waitress came and asked if everything was ok, they were very attentive! Highly recommended, local is also very cozy, nice terrace.

We spent a week here and were completely satisfied. The friendly staff, the pleasantly quiet location far away from the hustle and bustle of Lake Constance, the fresh and rich food (both in the evening and for breakfast) and sparkling clean rooms make the family-run hotel a wonderful place for relaxation and culinary pampering. A special highlight is the restaurant terrace, from which you have a breathtaking panoramic view over the landscape and you can enjoy one or the other summer drink.

We were in Eglofs for the second time and we are thrilled by this hotel in historic walls! The renovated, large, very clean and nicely furnished room is clean with a huge window front that provides a great view of the Allgäu mountains. The bathroom is spacious and very clean. The service is friendly and helpful. The breakfast leaves nothing to be desired. Free parking spaces are available. We enjoyed our stay very much and will definitely be back! Thank you so much!

This is my third time here myself and, as always, I'm thrilled. Very nice staff, dignified atmosphere, food and drink at reasonable prices and a great, regionally typical interior. One of my favorites in Germany!

The Schnitzel is perfect!

We booked this hotel for our Allgäu - Rad-Rundfahrt for one night. Our "luggage transfer" (was purely private, the brother of a rider) was very friendly, the luggage in one of the three rooms, which we had booked, stowed away and also with our arrival in the late afternoon the front desk was very warm! The rooms are large and bright and clean ... the bathroom too ... all in all an optimal place to stay for such a tour😊 we can recommend the hotel in good conscience @

Lovely place . Clean room and kindly staff. Good food at dinner. Only complain is the poor water-pressure of shower in our room.

For a stopover on the way to the Salzkammergut, we chose this house at short notice. Great location, fantastic views, delicious good home-style food and fine drinks. The breakfast buffet was well stocked, so that everyone finds something and is full. The staff attentive, friendly and fast. My EZ had come of age. Above all, the mattress was very hard, the pillow quite uncomfortable and the blanket heavy like a stone. Since one could do something positive with simple means in the today's time. Otherwise - I would choose again :-)
